Anthony Pym will offer driving tuition under the following Terms of Business.

The price of driving lessons is:-

​

A fee, which is mutually agreed from time to time. During the lesson all necessary paper work, such as the making  of the next appointment and any telephone calls associated with booking tests  for and on behalf of the pupil, will be conducted within the lesson period.  Any explanations or advice, both verbal and written, given to both the pupil and any other interested parties will be conducted within the lesson period.

A fee equivalent to that which is charged for a one-hour lesson will also be charged for the use of the driving school car for the purpose of taking the driving test.

Anthony Pym will allow the use of the driving school car for the practical driving test only if the pupil's driving ability has reached the required standard. Such standard will be determined by Anthony Pym or any other Approved Driving Instructor appointed by him. In the event of the instructor's decision to withhold the use of the school car for the driving test, sufficient notice will be given to the pupil to avoid loss of the DVSA test fee or Anthony Pym will reimburse the pupil the value of the test fee only.

Cancellation.  A minimum of 24 hours notice of  intention to cancel any appointment will be required or the full cost of the lesson will be charged.

Anthony Pym reserves the right to alter any lesson to a time convenient to both parties if he is not able to conduct the lesson in the event of mechanical failure or any other reason whatsoever. A minimum of 4 hours notice of such alteration will be given or Anthony Pym will reimburse the pupil in the form of conducting another lesson (of identical length and venue) free of charge.

Anthony Pym reserves the right to substitute another Approved Driving Instructor for the purposes of giving all or any part of any lesson if  he is not available for any reason whatsoever.

The driving licence details, and that the pupil can read a numberplate at the prescribed distance, will be checked on or before the first lesson. Thereafter it is the responsibility of the pupil to inform Anthony Pym of any changes in their health which could affect their entitlement to drive or any changes in the licence details whatsoever.

Complaints Procedure. In the event of the pupil having any complaint about any service offered by Anthony Pym, in the first instance they should contact Anthony Pym himself by telephone or in writing. In the unlikely event that agreement cannot be reached the matter will be referred to DVSA's Registrar of Approved Instructors who will consider the matter and advise accordingly.
